The best part of traning is the taper! Ironman AZ is in two weeks and I had my last run of 3.5hrs this morning.

Ultimate Frisbee prison rules
One of the many things we do as a team is playing ultimate frisbee together. You have to be carefull with us. My son ben dislocated his finger during a friendly "Prison rules game"

Omaha Towing and Security
We recently started using Omaha Towing and Security to Patrol our lots and wow what a difference it has made in improving the security at my properties. Here is a video about some of our experiences.

We just had one of the best afternoons for ultimate in a while. Thanks to Christian McKinley and the Omaha south Jr class we had 18 guys on the field. Great athletes out there. G man was the most impressive, man that guy has wheels

May 17th Company Work-Out
Sprint 40 Meters every minute on the minute for 20 minutes. Sprints were not timed, just a race between participants. Scores posted as percentage of sprints won.

Mt. Elbert
Had a really good time on the mt. camping and climbing. Another accomplishment with good friends and a cool fire. It was perfect weather not to cold and hardly any snow. Even though all was good it is was a little tough with the heavy packs we lugged up. I have to give a shout out to Daves son Zach for making to the top and back. He didnt complain once and did same as everyone else. Something to be proud of

Mt Elbert
A big group of us successfully summited Mt Elbert last Sunday. On Saturday we climbed to 11,500 feet and camped the night and hiked the final 3,000 feet Sunday. We did not get into Omaha till Monday morning at 5:30am. Made for a long work day. The highlight of the trip for dinner at Quincy's in Leadville.

This Week's Workout
This week we did a team workout. While on person does push-ups, the other person runs across the parking lot and back, team members switch positions when the runner returns. The goal is maximum total push-ups in 20 minutes. Push-ups from the knees were allowed for women.

Company workouts
The company work outs have proven to be quite popular.
Here is what we are doing at noon today.
On a continuous running clock we will
Run one 10 yard sprint, rest till be get to one minute
Run two ten yard sprints, rest till be get to two minutes
Run three ten yard sprints, rest till we get to three minutes
Run four ten yard sprints rest till we get to 4 minutes.
Run five etc etc.
The cut off will be when you can no longer get the number of sprint done in under a minute.
The sprints will be in a down and back fashion

being apart of landmark endurance team has been an awesome experience for me. its given me an opportunity to do things i never even knew i liked doing. and gettin to know other people that like doing the same things. growing up with the family and friends that i have u never notice the difference between u. until u talk about the things u like doin now from when you were younger. like the conversation i had with my brother about the up comin trip to colorado. im tellin him the details bout it like the cold,the overnight,ect. . and he looks at me like im stupid with a lil bit of why in the world and says what do u get out of it. with no way for me explain i simply say u just have to experience it
